Requests for fire inspections must be made a minimum of three weeks prior to the requested inspection date. Inspections will be booked based upon staffing availability. In order to request an inspection, the owner of the property will need to submit a request which is written and signed (electronic signatures will not be accepted). The fee for a fire inspection is $75.00 per hour. Deficiencies will be required to be addressed/remedied.

The Fire Department does not provide inspections for wood stoves and fireplaces (WETT). If a WETT inspection is required please refer to WETT website.
The Fire Department does not provide inspections for gas appliances. This would fall under the jurisdiction of TSSA.
