This quaint village located on the banks of the Sauble River, halfway between Owen Sound and Southhampton on Hwy 21 was named after its first settler, James Allen.
This small hamlet has many amenities and is home to the Allenford Curling Club which is a constant hub of activity and host to a number of events throughout the year.
