Before filing a freedom of information request, please contact the department who may have the information or contact the Town Clerk. The information you are looking for may already be available and you might not have to file a freedom of information request.
Freedom of information process
If you need to make a freedom of information request, you will need to fill in a request form. Include details and be as specific as possible about the information you would like to obtain.
There is a five dollar fee to file a request. There are fees for search, preparation, copies, etc. associated with your request.
How to apply
- Download, print and fill out the request form (PDF).
- Make sure you have the filing fee. We accept debit, cash or cheques payable to the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
- Submit the application and the filing fee in person or by mail to:
