The Town provides one fall leaf collection event per year which occurs in early November. Specific dates are established each fall.
The 2024 collection dates are:
November 4, 2024: Wiarton area
November 5, 2024: Sauble Beach – South Area (Section 4B)
November 6, 2024 Sauble Beach – North Area (Section 4)
November 7, 2024: Former Albemarle Township, plus the area north of Bruce Road 13 and east of Bryant St, including Oliphant
November 8, 2024: Former Amabel Township south of Boat Lake Rd and east of Bruce Road 13, including Hepworth and Allenford

Bagged leaves must be placed at the curb prior to 7:00 a.m. on the day of pick up. Bagged leaves need to be placed separately from regular garbage. Only biodegradable/paper garbage bags are acceptable for leaf collection. Branches, brush, or other wood products are not collected curbside; please do not include any with your bagged leaves.
Sweeping leaves onto the street or gutter is prohibited through By-law 151-2008, any offence is subject to enforcement of the By-law and the set fine schedule. Leaves block drains and prevent water from draining off the road. Your cooperation is appreciated.
If you missed your curbside collection date, or have accumulated additional leaves after the collection date, you can take them to the Landfill Site during regular landfill hours. Leaves and grass clippings are accepted for no charge at the Landfill.
