Our animal control services provides a safe and healthy environment for people and animals.
Our services are for South Bruce Peninsula only. Residents of neighbouring municipalities (Georgian Bluffs, Arran-Elderslie and First Nations) should contact their municipal offices for assistance.

Animal Information
Bears |
The MNR implements the Bear Wise Program. This program provides information on preventing and reporting encounters with black bears. Please call 1-866-514-2327 (April 1-November 30) if a bear is:

Wild animals |
The Town does not respond to any calls about wild animals. We are not able to remove, relocate or in any way deal with wild animals including but not limited to deer, raccoons, skunks, birds and foxes. If you are experiencing an encounter with a wild animal that is threatening human life, please call 911. You may want to call the Ministry of Natural Resources for information on how to deal with wild animals. |
Dogs |
View our Dog Regulating by-law for more information on care, control and rules. If you have lost or found a dog, please call 519-534-1400 ext.123. We do not have 24 hour animal control services and we may not be available outside of regular office hours. Please be sure to leave a message. |
Cats |
We don't have any by-laws to regulate cats. Our Animal Control Services do not respond to any calls regarding cats. |
