Rent a Facility

• A rental agreement will be forwarded for you to complete, sign and return
• A 50% deposit is required with balance to be paid prior to event

• Ball diamonds - ball games and tournaments (May 15th-October 15th only)
• Pavilions - family reunions, picnics, etc. (May 15th-October 15th only)
• Ross Whicher Centre - meetings

The following facilities are available for rent for both alcohol and non-alcohol functions, have tables and chairs, kitchen and bar areas and are wheelchair accessible:

Events with alcohol must obtain the following:

• Liability Insurance in the minimum amount of $5 million, with the Town of South Bruce Peninsula as additional named insured
• Signed and completed Alcohol Risk Management Policy.
• Special Occasion Permit from the Alcohol Gaming and Commission of Ontario
• Bartenders must have Smart Serve Certificate and be approved by the Facilities Coordinator

Any event that intends to have non-original music in a Town owned facility must pay an Entandem fee, a joint venture between SOCAN fee (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) and Re:Sound.

This fee is required to cover licencing fees for the Canadian Copyright collective that administers and collects fees and distributes royalties.

Note: You will not be required to pay the fee if your music provider already has an Entandem licence and you are able to provide a copy to the Town.  

• Renters are responsible for setting up and tearing down all decorations
• Renters are to provide an outline of set up and staff will set up tables and chairs
• No confetti or candles with open flame permitted
• Renter to obtain food and beverage
