Heritage walking tours
Self-guided walking tour areas are Allenford, Wiarton and the Sauble Falls Bridge.
Heritage registry
The Heritage Registry documents properties and buildings which have received heritage designations under the Ontario Heritage Act.
History books
You can buy history books year-round at Town Hall and seasonally at the Wiarton Train Station in Bluewater Park and at the Hepworth Visitors Centre. All books are reprints of previous books.
The Wiarton History Book is soft cover and coil bound. The cost is $15.00 each including taxes or $10.00 each including taxes for bulk purchases of five or more books at one time.
The Amabel History Book is soft cover and perfect bound. The cost is $35.00 each including taxes or $25.00 each including taxes for bulk purchases of five or more books at one time.
The Albemarle History Book is soft cover and perfect bound. The cost is $25.00 each including taxes or $20.00 each including taxes for bulk purchases of five or more books at one time.
