The Town of South Bruce Peninsula holds a variety of events and festival throughout the year, the most famous being the Wiarton Willie Festival. Other festivals and events include Sauble Sandfest, Rotary Village Fair, Purple Valley Maple Syrup Festival, Winterama, the Wiarton and District Agricultural Society Fall Fair, Santa Claus Paradeand Canada Day festivities to name a few. If you would like to organize a special event on town property in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, please complete our Special Event Application at least 90 days before your event. Staff will review the application and provide suggestions to ensure a successful event. Be sure to use the checklist and include as much information as possible including Municipal services that you may need to support your event such as road closures, permits, or additional waste bins.
