Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of South Bruce Peninsula will be holding a public meeting on Tuesday August 20, 2024 at 9:00 am in the Municipal Council Chambers, located at 315 George Street in Wiarton.
The public meeting will be held to hear public comments with regard to the proposed updates to the Town’s Community Improvement Plan (CIP) and is being held pursuant to Section 28(4) of the Ontario Planning Act, RSO 1990, c.P.13.
The CIP will apply to all lands in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
The purpose of the CIP is to adopt a program that will allow for opportunities that encourage the redevelopment, revitalization and improvement of lands throughout the entire municipality by offering the potential for a variety of financial incentives. The updated CIP will replace the current CIP and will allow for increased access by businesses and property owners in the municipality to apply for potential funding opportunities including Bruce County’s Spruce the Bruce Program.
