Road Closures Due to Flooding

Sideroad 15 between Bruce Road 8 and Spring Creek Rd has reopened, effective immediately. The seasonal flooding has subsided, and the road is now safe for traffic. All roads in South Bruce Peninsula are now open. Thank you to everyone for respecting the road closure signage during this flooding event.

Spring Creek Road between Sideroad 15 and Jewel Bridge Rd/Dorena Cres has reopened, effective immediately. The seasonal flooding has subsided, and the road is now safe for traffic. Thank you to everyone for respecting the road closure signage during this flooding event.

Sideroad 15 remains closed at this time due to high water levels on the Sauble River. Please exercise caution near high water and continue to follow road closure signs for your safety.

Due to seasonal flooding, Sideroad 15 has been closed between Bruce Road 8 and Spring Creek Road, and Spring Creek Road has been closed between Sideroad 15 and Jewel Bridge Rd/Dorena Cres. The Sauble River has risen significantly over the last 24 hours and the water is over both roads. The roads will remain closed until further notice. We ask everyone to obey the road closure signage and avoid the area.

Grey Sauble Conservation Authority has issued a Flood Watch for their watershed area. They have been documenting the high water levels throughout the watershed and have noted that this is the highest they have seen in a while. They have notified the Town that the Sauble River is still rising, and flows will continue to increase. We ask everyone to exercise caution if near areas with high water levels.
