South Bruce Peninsula Storm Update 4

Crews continue to work to clean up the storm debris on roads and power lines. Hydro One has advised that most areas of South Bruce Peninsula will have their hydro restored by 10pm tonight however there are smaller areas which may be without hydro until April 2nd.

The Wiarton Arena is open to all members of the public.

- Monday March 31 11am to 8pm
- Tuesday April 1 9am to 8pm
- Wednesday April 2 9am to 8pm
- Thursday April 3 9am to 8pm (tentative date if hydro is not restored)
Road Closures:
• Sideroad 15 is closed between Bruce Road 8 and Spring Creek Rd due to flooding.
• Wright’s Cres from Purple Valley Rd. to Coveney’s Rd. is now open but is narrow due to debris on the shoulders. Exercise caution when driving in this area.

- Never run a generator indoors or in enclosed spaces like garages
- Test to ensure carbon monoxide detectors are working properly.
